Similar to what we have achieved with the SUPER_HERO D/LAB sails, our goal was to create real game changers. Switching from industry-standard semi-custom technology to our exclusive FULL CUSTOM PRODUCTION marked the foundation. This technology lifted our weight vs. strength ratio to a whole new level and allowed us to make every single prototype in the factory reproducible.

DESIGN GOALS >> SHAPE DETAILS

Our main goals were to create designs with a maximum range of use that are easier (less exhausting) plus more radical on the wave. We wanted a stable platform for getting going, yet boards that turn even more radical down the line.

• STABLE YET RADICAL CONCEPT: Our wave boards are 1-2cm wider than most. This results in a more stable platform (like a board 5 liters bigger) while the additional outline curve ensures it turns as radical as a board 5 liters smaller.
• 3-STAGE ROCKER: A segmented rocker line that accounts for the fact that bottom- and top turns are different maneuvers. The straight section between the straps creates a stable stance, while the KICKSTARTER TAIL generates perfect water release and instant acceleration.
• SYNCED CURVES CONCEPT (rocker / outline / rail): Using AI_BOARD_3D, we synchronize the curvature of the outline, rocker, and rails. This prevents the curves from working against each other, making it easier to initiate bottom turns and execute radical top turns.

The GRIP focuses on Euro waves and logo-high ground swell. It is ideal for spots like Klitm?ller, Canarias, North Sea, and Kanaha.

Exclusive Fin Production
All our fins are produced in our exclusive factory now. Instead of using one technology for all our fins we are using 3 different technologies according to the fin length and range of use.
